Assemblymembers Bill Quirk (D-Hayward), Kansen Chu (D-Milpitas), and Ash Kalra (D-San Jose) authored Resolution 118 that made August 2018 as “Muslim American Appreciation & Awareness” for the third consecutive year. This is the display at the entrance of the Weekes Branch Library in Hayward. We thank the efforts of the City of Hayward and CAIR-SFBA for making this happen! Hayward Mayor Barbara Halliday will also deliver a proclamation of appreciation for the Hayward Muslim community this Friday at the Gading Mosque Friday service (Jumu'ah), which will be held at 1:15 p.m. at the Golden Peacock Restaurant in Hayward. |
